ABOUT THE JOB

Nash Tech Labs is looking for talented, mature, self-motivated, and dynamic individuals for its Research & Development center in Bangalore to become a part of NextGen product development in the SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT team. To ensure success in this position, you should be able to arrange the samples from vendors as per the requirements, obtain a fair price for the material by comparing the quotes and negotiations, and finally procure materials and necessary components.

  • Handling complete Sourcing/Vendor development activities of Wiring Harness, for R&D, NPD, and Mass

  • Getting cost breakups and analyzing each part/process and negotiating.
  • Supplier Evaluation and benchmark Indian suppliers with overseas suppliers and improvements.
  • Supplier's Evaluation/Assessment by considering various factors such as Financial & Technical Aspects, Quality, Cost, Deliveries, Technology, and accessibility.
  • Knowledge Contracts - NDA & MSA.
  • Select suppliers using the preferred supplier selection and assessment process. Completes supplier risk assessments on critical and unique parts that support Organizations in Compliance Risk Management.

ABOUT THE JOB

A project manager’s role is to take on the responsibility for a specific project or several projects within an organization. The Project Manager needs to make sure that a project runs smoothly and stays on schedule and update the progress of their project regularly to the upper management.   • Feasibility Study: drive project(s) feasibility study with relevant internal stakeholders and submit a final report to the strategic council.
  • Initiation & finalization of the project proposal must start sequentially after receiving approval from SCB (Strategic Council Board).
  • Take ownership of Project(s)/product(s) with clear objectives. Questions regarding the feasibility of the execution of a project must be discussed with the management for the final decision.
  • If you are working on an internal project for NASH, make sure you have enough clarity on the project to execute. In the absence of clarity, please make a note in every meeting to get the required clarity.
  • Activities & Resource Estimation Planning: Make sure we have the required technical skill availability, the cost target, time target, and resource requirement, before starting execution for internal and/or client project(s).
  • Define Project SOW (Statement of work) as per customer requirement, after receiving the confirmation from Customer/Marketing & BD. Ensure you have the necessary clarity regarding the conversations with customers and internal meetings recorded and summarized for clear communication with your reporting project team.
  • Project Manager must plan the execution of sub-modules internally or get it outsourced from the very beginning of the projects or at least after the feasibility test/report.
  • Identify and create the Project team with the help of all the Functional Managers: each PM must have a team to execute the project by themselves. No projects must be considered without having enough technical skills and human resources At least 60% of the requirements must be done easily by your team members.
  • Project Managers will plan the common resource requirements as well (test equipment, test labs, people, others) well in advance. Last-minute requests will be considered based on the availability of resources. Delays in the project will be directly accountable to Project Managers.
  • Before a project kick-off, it is the project manager's responsibility to resolve all relevant and pending queries and uncertainties. Once a project has been initiated, it is the responsibility of the Project Manager to complete the project on time and at the cost target.
  • Develop a detailed final project plan with milestones that must be vetted by the relevant stakeholders. Ensure the project plan is in line with customer requirements.
  • Plan the project Kick-off meeting with all Stakeholders once the team is identified.
  • Submission of the final project proposal with marketing/BD OR the customer.
  • Project Managers must not accept any changes in the spec, without having clarity on the impact of the changes. If there is a change in spec, it will call for an adjustment in cost and time of the project timeline, it must not be accepted without prior approval by the client and management of Nash Tech Labs.
  • Managing reports & necessary documents as per quality standards & QMS requirements: Project Managers are responsible for keeping track of all necessary documents of all the running project(s), each project will have a dedicated folder, which will have the necessary document list.
  • Ensure System integration is in place for the complete product to make ensure the smooth release of a product you are responsible to remind and follow up with all respective Functional Managers for this critical point till the achievement of a Form-Fit-Function of the final product).
  • Analyzing & Managing project risk (Mitigation plan should be in place): Project Managers must work with Functional Managers/ Lead Engineers of a respective department for the continuous review of the projects technically, if any risks are identified, please address them during your reviews and find and create the mitigation plan.
  • If the risks cannot be solved or managed, conduct a meeting with the client immediately (Nash Tech Labs management if internal it is a project).
  • Project Executiocanceled delayed/cancelled if the members are not able to mitigate the risks and come to conclusion on the output or deliverables until a solution is available, and agreeable to all stakeholders.
  • Managers must report their project in terms of all 10 factors every week: Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Stakeholders, Procurement, Risk, Communication, Resources, and Quality.
  • Make and maintain a chart that can explain it all in one small sheet.
  • Review material tracker as per the BOM and provide feedback to the supply chain management department for timeline improvement wherever required to an inline project plan. Drive to add alternate vendors to add in BOM, wherever there is a single vendor dependency.
  • Have a track of cost estimation & development of the budget, and cost control (Budget Vs Actual). If any additional cost, PM should provide proper justification.
  • Project Managers are also responsible for the organization & motivation of project team(s), monitoring the progress, and providing continuous feedback to stakeholders, as per customer communication.
  • Project Managers are responsible to highlight the technical training every quarter projects every quarter to the Functional Managers and HR department (only project-specific).
  • All documents shall be maintained, recorded, and stored for audit at any point in time & any phase of the project.
  • Project Managers are solely responsible for delivering the product(s)/project(s) to the end customer and maintaining cost, time, and intermediate deliverables.
  • A project manager is required to maintain a database to capture all the courses of action undertaken during a project's life cycle.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Must play a key role in the development of BLDC Motor Controllers for ceiling fans, air conditioners, and Electric Vehicle applications DFMEA and De-ratting, Design calculations, and design documentation.
  • Must have good PCB Layout Knowledge.
  • Must make reports of Daily activities with respect to projects assigned.
  • Must be able to perform basic debugging on the circuit level.
  • Must be able to perform basic debugging on the circuit level.
  • Need to meet customer timelines during the product development life cycle.
  • Responsible for hardware topology design of motor control
  • Do schematic design, component selection, circuit/thermal simulation and calculation, DFMEA as well as prepare test plan.
  • Support reliability improvement at the design stage and conduct failure device analysis
  • Initiate Customer interactions during Product Development

ADDITIONAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • Knowledge of measurement instruments like digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, functional generators, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Understand well about microchips and controllers.
  • Practical experience in working with BLDC Motor Controllers.
  • Experience using OrCAD and Altium, MS-office.

ABOUT THE JOB

Nash Tech Labs is looking for talented, mature, self-motivated, and dynamic individuals for its Research & Development center in Bangalore to become a part of NextGen project coordination team. To be successful in the role of a Project Coordinator an individual should possess excellent organizational and planning skills, strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with stakeholders and team members, the ability to identify and analyse project risks and develop and implement effective risk management strategies, a team-oriented approach and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Documentation of project progress and engineers’ work/tasks and activities.
  • Monitor and report progress, problems, and solutions of the project to the NTL Leadership.
  • Identify gaps within projects, and formulate solutions, implement a required process as per the direction of the NTL Leadership. Report the changes and communicate those changes across the project teams and communicate the changing impact.
  • Facilitate the flow of essential information among project team members.
  • Work closely with project managers and make required reports related to project schedule, milestones, and their associated dashboards, to monitor progress using this data, and in collaboration with others, interpret the data and develop recommendations based on findings, submit these reports to NTL leadership.
  • Closely work with the technical team/engineers to monitor project status and submit the daily/weekly project status report to NTL leadership.
  • Documenting daily status of projects by interacting with the technical team.
  • Communicate technical issues / planned or unplanned environment downtime to the NTL leadership through proper communication channels (Reports).
  • Assist the technical team in all aspects of the technical projects if required based on inputs from NTL leadership.
